Steve Erickson is a gifted singer and songwriter whose first album, It's About Time, has just been released. It's About Time offers an eclectic mix of singer/songwriter storytelling with a pop sensibility that isn't easily pegged to a particular genre. Clear vocals and tight harmonies are featured throughout the album. Erickson has a broad base of musical influences that had been percolating for years before he took the songwriting plunge." I was thinking about writing songs long before I actually wrote them down, probably because I didn't know if they would be good enough.
