One summer day, when I was visiting my friend Dr. Mak Eagle's house, I happened to mention,"When I zone out, songs just naturally come to me based on the vibe of people or things." He replied,"In that case, write a song based on my image!"So, I sat at the piano, let my mind wander, and captured his energy from the"cloud" in my head, turning it into music. As I played it over and over on the piano, an image of a vocalist singing started to take shape. I thought,"I really want to add lyrics to this!" So I sent his image back up to my mental cloud, and the perfect lyrics came floating down to me.Then, to my surprise, an image of a choral piece came to mind! I arranged it for a mixed 4-part choir, resulting in my very first original choral song,"Edge of Space."This song says it wants to spread love by having as many people as possible on Earth listen to and sing it!
