From New England roots to over a decade living just outside of Music City (Nashville), this music has been boiling just below the surface, looking for a way out. There are songs about hurricanes and dancing in the rain, love lost, found and re-kindled. Solid pop songwriting with lots of influences on display from Blues and Americana to Latin and Soul. Vignettes and slices of life, touching the heart while your toes keep on tapping. Dennis has been entertaining crowds most of his life and the pull of the Muse is never far off. His last album,"Long Country" got steady airplay and gathered fans of all ages with heartfelt songs like"Living In Heaven" and"The One You Come Home To", and the rousing uptempo of"Honeydew" and"You Rescued Me".This time out it's back to his Northern roots with a more rock/pop based collection of songs, still flashing the country/blues overtones of previous recordings, but with a new twist. The rhythms, piano, organ and soulful guitar styles round out the songs, but it's the voice that makes these songs come alive. From the deepest depths to the highest highs, familiar and new at the same time. Give this a spin or three, and you'll see what others have discovered. These songs will find their way into your heart because they are already in your life. Enjoy the ride!
