"With Christ I Can" says a whole lot. I wrote this song out of a place ofinsecurity in my talents and gifts. Growing up, I always felt the need tocompare myself with others, not measuring up to their standards. I wouldeven limit myself because I was too afraid for people to see me mess up ormake a mistake. God continued to deal with me, causing me to examine mylevel of confidence. As a result, this song was born!"With Christ I Can"begins each verse as the *me* who feels self-conscious and doubtful in mytalents. Gradually toward the end of the verse, moving into the chorus, Ihave an epiphany, realizing that it's not about my own ability, but withGod, I can accomplish anything. My gifts are perfected through HIM. Thissong speaks to anyone who, at one time or another, has ever felt uncertain,diffident, embarrassed, or faithless in your gifts and talents.
