Modern­­ Bronze isn’t your average LA rock band. Refusing to blend into the vast soundscape, this female-fronted quartet glistens with magnetic songwriting suggesting The Kills, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Suzi Quatro, and everything else you love about rock & roll. Originally tested during a jam in a rehearsal studio downtown, their signature sound erupted when four distinctly different musical backgrounds collided in mid-2015. Sharing the common ground of being California transplants with a long list of previous bands, each member of Modern Bronze has experience, perseverance and Dropbox folders filled with song ideas. Built on the foundation of asking, ‘what if’' every musical idea was on the table, quickly the foursome began amassing original songs that are musically influenced by the emotional depth of Portishead, the complexity of Rush, the thickness of Zeppelin and the riffing edge of Steve Stevens. Like a rodeo bull, Modern Bronze entered the recording studio ready to throw down.
