"Give Us All Yer Whiskey" is a wild ride into the song ballads of the miners and sailors who ventured west in the 1800s. All the songs are performed with guts & glory in every verse! Times were hard back in those days and life was short. This song collection has all the color and history of the times and performed on time period instruments. If you want to fire up your St. Patrick's Day party,"Give Us All Yer Whiskey", is what you need! This album is what the Back Irish Band was made for. The boys come from the Heart of the Historic California Gold Rush Country and this album is their tradition....Hailing from the historic Gold Rush Country of America, the four members Black Irish Band of twenty–Six years, have a musical style that is as timeless as the rugged landscape of the west, a tribute to the people whose lives were spent building the world we now take for granted. The band has a large compliment of traditional maritime and railroad music, as well as ethnic tunes in their repertoire. They excel at Irish & Scottish, Italian, and American folk music with an assortment of original songs and traditional western ballads. The bands musical style captures the spirit of the immigrants of this land, the men and women who tamed the Wild West.
