'I Only Get This Way With You' is Eric's most recent release. A simple but powerful record of voice and guitar chronicling the life cycle of heartbreak from love to redemption. The songs are astoundingly different despite featuring the same voice, guitar and a handful of commonly used chords. The lyrics display uncommon depth and originality. The accompaniment though spare is heartfelt and evocative. Captured by veteran producer Dan Garcia the production is careful and assured.
