Growing up in ballet studios around the world, mostly in France, music was always an essential part of my life, even if then it was composed by Chopin. At fifteen, I traded my pointe shoes for a drum kit and a guitar and started writing lyrics to chords I had taught myself. Playing started as a pass-time, something I did when I needed to get out of my head. It was a sort of diary, greatly influenced by artists that I was introduced to at a very young age including: The Beatles,The Who, and plenty of other artists of that generation. However, today's artists like Ed Sheeran, The 1975, and The Kooks have written some of my favorite music that has undoubtedly guided my development as a musician. Whether it is from classical compositions, French music, or the Who, my passion for music has grown immensely and inspired my own expression of it.
