Redwood Preservation Society (RPS) is made up of David Warren...As such the sound is solitary in its nature while offering a variety of emotions to explore. In this debut album, RPS explores grief and sorrow in the context of hope with the offering of ten songs written in honest expression of pain, sorrow, and loss felt during grief. From denial, to hope, and all points between; RPS presents a very open heart and allows the listener to infer a great deal of self-application to the song lyrics while maintaining their integrity.Redwood Preservation Society is not in any way connected to any actual organization dedicated to the preservation of Redwoods or any other tree species. This does not, however, imply the hatred of trees; RPS just makes music for people.Every stitch of this album was recorded in David's home in Indiana. If you listen closely, you can sometimes hear his kids or wife in the background living life. This music is as independent as it gets.
