This record was written by me and took well over two years to produce into physical form. I recorded originally in my childhood basement when my dad was away. Most of the songs were done there. Hometown was written in NY and recorded on my macbook mic. I've made some changes since, but that is the tone you're hearing. The last two tracks were recorded in my mother's living room while some vocals were done in my apartment's closet with a hanging yoga mat and blankets. I feel that the lack of money is kind of a reflection of the times. The whole thing came out of necessity.During the last recordings I pulled a few songs and put on a couple others. The record wasn't fitting as a whole very well. There is an untitled song. It shows up blank on the back cover. I never named the song and I wrote it years ago...plus it makes a good division between a traditional side A side B. The songs here are definitely a reflection of some of the things that seem apparent to me in my mid twenties. I hope those things are recognized. Let me know if they do.
