The writing of Parallel Methods' debut album"Another Day towards The Closure" started in the summer of 2014. It took almost 2 years to complete this cross genre project, yet it felt like a blink of an eye. This record combs through retro to modern electronic sound infused with pop and hard rock genre. For this project the conscious decision was not to limit the sound to a specific genre; the members had total freedom to express ideas and unleash their creativity by absolutely any means and sonic styles. This album reflects thousands of hours of obsessive work that include building two production studios in parallel from scratch, installing and routing tens of carefully selected analog and digital synthesizers, drum machines, production software, and other hardware by hundreds of patch cables to say the least. The inspiration for this record emerged from various sources such as life stories, conversations, nature, books, movies, daily News, relationships, hopes, and fears.Equipments used:Synthesizers: Moog, Nord, Dave Smith, Elektron, WaldorfDrums: Alesis dm 10xDrum machines: Elektron, VermonaGuitars: Dean Dave Mustaine signature vmnt - Seymour Duncan Mustaine Active pickup, Ibanez s series 7 string - Seymour Duncan Invader passive pickup, Ibanez vintage acoustic guitar, Ibanez 6 string bass guitarAmplification: Hughes & Kettner grandmeister, Randall DX120, Marshall AVT100Others: Universal Audio UA710 preamp/compressor, Aphex tubescence preamp, Universal Audio Apollo, Electron Octatrack sampler, Ableton push, AKG condenser microphone, Audio Technica condenser microphone, Blue dynamic microphone, Digitech dsp guitar fx, Ableton Live, UAD plug ins, Addictive DrumsSpecial Thanks to:Lucy Desiqueira for female vocal contributions throughout the albumFolks in Nature of Music (Mazi & Kian) for their constant guidance and feedback during this projectAll songs written/performed/produced by Parallel Methods
