This is a guaranteed double a-side street hit. Rock on. Philip Puckett an urban sound that's prime for parties and late night lovin'. Whispering Lion (AKA Michael Zeitsoff) is the closest thing to Berkeley Beat Box Heaven you're likely to find in this or any other century. The Party Mix of"Rock Steady Party" is the best local dance track of the year, polished hi-tech hip hop with state-of-the-art synthesizer rhythms. (Review in"Calendar Magazine"/Michael Goldner)Opening with a stacatto synth line, cowbells, bass beat, and horn hits,"Love Posse" has a hook that fills the floor. Although the track sounds like a speedy spaghetti western meets disco funk, it's a great number to play around Evelyn"Champagne" King's"High Horse."And if you're hardcore, try the rock mix (sans rap); it's Motley Cru meets hip-hop. Much credit is due Michael Zeitsoff who independently wrote, produced, and is distributing copies of this record. Tribute to the Spirit--A unique blend of Bob Marley and Bob Dylan, the styles of both Bob's blend nicely between Rck and Reggae, with a bit of blues a touch of techno/ and a lyrical balance between social commentary and lover’s ballads.
