"Naturealistic" is a pure acoustic album by me, Karl McCann, a singer/songwriter from Liverpool, UK.I feel this is my purest work yet and a kind of 'send off' as I plan to take a break from writing/performing for a few years."Naturealistic" is about the nature of people, existence & how people can be controlled for selfishness of others. My music has always been of an atheist persuasion but I feel this gathering of songs portrays this essence more than all of my other work. Over recent years i've became more aware of mixed beliefs, because of the rise of athiesm/decline of mainstream religions I think people have looked elsewhere for excuses, which has made them more susceptible to falling for traps, and when they are questioned they don't have the answers and this makes them feel disheartened and lost. The songs were written from 2011-2012 and most of them were written very quickly on instinct as I felt this was the spirit of what I was trying to achieve. No gimmicks, no fooling around, but honest pure creativeness. Admittedly, alot of my songs upto this collection I have written from a listeners perspective, wondering how my music would sound from the 'outside'. I've consciously swapped this around and wrote songs as me, as i've always wanted, I was hoping to have a higher platform to echo from , unfortunately that won't be the case.Please do enjoy"Naturealistic".
