Singer, Songwriter, Instrumentalist: I was Born in Manhattan in 1953. I hit my teens years at the height of the rock movement and was raised with the music industry all around me. I began playing guitar and piano around age 9 to for fun and slowly developed my personal style listening to the several genres, many guitarists and other musicians throughout my lifetime. My instrument of choice is my Fender Stratocaster Guitar, but I can bring together many electronic instruments to create a sound that is all my own with the voice of my wife Julie as my backup vocalist. My style is a range of many different styles from that era. A mix of experimental progressive art rock with some Latin, R&B, Jazz, Ambient Fusion. I want to take the guitar synthesizer to the next level and push it to the outer limits and hope to bring forth so really cosmic tunes. My past experience in the late 70s: My first band was Strange Brew with whom I played at CBGB's and the old Gildersleeves down the block from CBGB's in New York City. I later played at both venues with my second band Whiplash. I was also in the finals of an Electro-Harmonix contest with my second band Whiplash. I left Whiplash in the 80s and did not play for some time. I did however always have a guitar on hand. I was one of the firsts to discover the potential of electronics and I pioneered with the Roland guitar synthesizer when it became available and have been playing it ever since. My dream is to push it to its limits! Side Note: I also took bass lessons from the bass player in Elephants Memory (Gary Van Scyoc). At that time Elephants Memory backed John Lennon & Yoko Ono. So Here I am to debut to everyone and anyone with an ear to hear and listen. ENJOY!
