McAll1s music evokes a pensive,late-night mood (minus the usual jazz cliches) thatnon-jazzers may find as appealing as the hardcore group will his skillfullness. It’s exceptional stuff that reminds this listenerhow often half-baked writing and underdeveloped playing styles make it onto discs. If there were more albums like this, everyone would like jazz" - Dave McElfresh, CD Review, JAZZ NOW MAGAZINE (USA), 1995
