Hotel of the Laughing Tree are a Folk/Alternative/Progressive band from Long Island, New York. Shortly after forming in 2008, they took home an MTVu Woodie Award for 'Best Music on Campus'. The group signed with Brookvale Records, and put out their debut full length 'Terror and Everything After' in 2011. After supporting 'Terror', the band decided to head towards a more 'DIY' route, building a personal studio and subsequently recording a set of EPs, 'Mammoth Skin Pt. 1' and 'Pt. 2'. Both albums were released separately (over a year apart) to form one full length album.
