When Skye was almost three years old, his grandma asked him to sing the Star-Spangled Banner for a luncheon of the United Methodist Ladies of Paris, Tennessee. He doesn't actually remember the gig, but she insists he nailed it. That same year his mother began teaching him how to play the violin. Fifteen years later Skye moved to New York City to pursue a Nobel Prize in Literature. Since then he has enjoyed encounters as a fiddler with people ranging from Anthony Braxton to Willie Nelson, worked extensively with Vanessa Carlton, and toured on four continents with musicians from around the world. With Glorious Sunshine, Skye enters his most vulnerable territory to present a set of folk songs fracking the sub-strata of regret, betrayal, and self-doubt."Rustic and wordly" --New York Times"Eclectic and graceful" --TimeOut NY
