Acid313 is a Battle/Mixtape/Mixshow DJ as well as a Producer. His original style has stood him out from the crowd in the Detroit music scene. Reminiscent of Cybotron/Model 500/Channel One/Flintstones, his approach to Electro, Rap and House stands out as both a throwback in originality and progressive in leading toward the future.One half of the BulletProofMastermindZ, Acid313 started djing in the early 90's with Freestyle, Miami Bass, Electro, and Detroit Techno. His musical roots go back as far as 1985, listening to The Electrifying Mojo and The Wizard as most Detroit DJ's did. The inspiration to emulate the scratching/mixing of those historic DJ's as well as create the intricate soundscapes of the local music being created by Juan Atkins/Rick Davis/Kevin Saunderson (to name a few) was forever etched in his being. The young Acid started wearing down the family record player with his children's records..eventually breaking the thing. Destined to contribute to the growth of Detroit, the originality and divine inspiration that fuels Acid313 continues to grow at an alarming rate.
