The album consist of sixteen songs. 1. The Fires Burning is about beautiful woman that I have encountered while working out at a health club. 2 I'm going crazy, is about the stresses of life, written while driving down the highway in a snow storm. But it all started with the word eradicate, is what happened to my songs, when I first sent them to the Library of Congress to obtain a copyright .3. Rotten Wages, is the wage I receive performing at small coffee houses and bars. 4 Long ago, is about the time I first met my wife and how naive I was. 5. I'm having a party, is about a New Years Eve party I attended on a remote Caribbean Island, it was great time, but something was missing, 6. Date night Saturday night, is about the people I witnessed at a health club Christmas party . 7. Young Thing, is about falling in love at too young of age., 8. My babies boyfriend, is about clueless men, who do not get it that she's not in to you. 9. The songs Throw it all away, When she no longer needs you and Those days are dead and gone, were originally recorded on tape many years ago at a studio in Milwaukee Wisconsin that is no longer in business. I recorded the song as a demo to showcase four songs. I am playing the guitars, drums, singing and I composed the music and lyric's. The songs were not originally made to be sold to general public. But I think the songs were recorded very good. It is funny to hear how my voice has changed over the years. I added three of the four songs to this album. The song, Those days are dead and gone, is also on my Those Golden Dreams album, but a current version of the song, is in a different key and with Mike and Ten Gallenberger on lead and bass guitar. The song my friend, is about my wife. It wasn't until after I recorded the song, that I realized I recorded the song in the wrong key. But I guess it is ok. The song She's got to get away, is pretty self explainatory, it doesn't matter how long you've been with someone, if life is hell, get away. I probably would not have had drums on this song, It may be just a little too much. The song, In the morning I am leaving, is my attempt to write a song in the style of Gordon Lightfoot. I have heard people say that I sound like him., so I wanted to see If I can also write like him. I was a dreamer, is again about an old girl friend that I met many years ago from England. It is fiction, but it my attempt to paint a picture of how things might have worked out, if I traveled back to England to find her. The song let me ride, is basically saying let me move on, I have had enough. I hope you enjoy this album
