"Performing under the moniker 'the New Taste' allows for John Paul James (his pseudo-alias) to have an ever-changing array of talented musicians to play alongside him in the studio and at live venues. His thought provoking, crafty, and at most times, very intimate lyrics often portray a very personal and revealing look into the life of a struggling artist; while incredibly not forgetting to find the humor in the details. His unmistakable electricity and astounding ability to grab the attention of the crowd is this artist's most valuable weapon in his arsenal."
