Sunset Graves breaks new ground with the stunning debut album 'Variant'. Omitting conventional structure and vocals, this largely instrumental record deftly traverses genres from metal to post-rock, future beats, deep-cut samples and cinematic drones, weaving a textural, immersive listen that reveals more layers the deeper you go. Variant is a remarkable step forward and testament to leaving the past behind.
