I've been making music for 5 or 6 years now as just a hobby. Within the last year or so, I've really been trying to learn as much about production as possible. I do everything myself at my home recording studio. It's a very simple studio made up of my computer, a few guitars, a MIDI controller, a microphone, and a DAW (digital audio workstation). As a musician, I have been playing instruments since around the sixth grade. I started with trumpet and slowly picked up guitar, percussion, keyboard, and bass. My vocals are probably my weakest point, but I'm constantly trying to improve them as well as every other part of my musicianship. This is the first time I've worked on developing an overall tone, and that I've had enough tracks to warrant an album. It's a fairly short album, and I could've included more tracks, but I didn't want to add tracks just to add length. I wanted this album to be a short and sweet demonstration of where I'm at right now in my creativity. I'm just a college kid trying to find his place in music.
