This album has been a long time in the making. The oldest track on the album was written over 2 years ago, but then again the most recent was written only weeks before release!Modus Operandi showcases the Purple Rhapsody sound - created to fill your ears with exquisitely crafted music that will thrill your soul and leave you wanting to hit the 'Play' button again and again. Each track has its own story - from the power and melancholy of Here Is N.Y. (in memory of those that died on 9/11), via the unencumbered joy of Celloforte, to the sheer visceral chilling thrill of Twisted Star.Modus Operandi is defined as"A person's manner of working" and this whole album encapsulates Purple Rhapsody's way of working - from the concept of melody being key all the way through to the eclectic mix of guitars, synthesisers, beats, and orchestra there is something about the Purple Rhapsody sound that is fresh and yet familiar at the same time.Take the time to discover this album - you won't be disappointed!
