Our music comes from a nexus of musicians from the Poughkeepsie, New York area. We have all known each other from other groups, but this is the first full length album we've done together. The Elephant in the Room EP was our first release. The Laws of Harmony and Hostility album was recorded at Greentree Studios in Hyde Park. It's a small studio in Jamie Mazurowski's house. There is a variety of music on the record. Most of the members of Feed the Animals come from metal/heavy music oriented groups. We tried to include other sounds for this record. Adding piano, clean guitar and jazzy drums is an underlying style we use.. Our metal roots are still included but we tried to get on the road to somewhere else and we're very proud of the end result!
