Somebody's Dream is composed of founding members Chris White on guitar and keyboards, Emmett Borgeman on vocals and bass, Lee Harold on drums, and Mark Dekkar on guitars, with newcomers Lisa White adding soaring vocals and Dave Nicholson providing rythym guitars, bass, and vocals. On their third album, On The Edge, Chris and Mark provide startling guitar performances - ripping solos, melodic rythyms, and vintage dual lead solos in the manner of the Allman Brothers, Thin Lizzy, and Wishbone Ash. The inspiring lead vocals of Emmett, Lisa, and Dave provide a range of moods to this 15-track album. The infectuous rythyms of the songs are quite varied, with electric guitars, sythesizers, and driving bass on some tracks, and acoustic and 12-string acoustic guitars and piano on others. With a range of musical styles, from classic rock songs like"Keep My Spirit Alive", to the jazzy tone of"Dark Eyes" and the mellow love song"The One", and back to stripped down, classic rock on"Hey Jonny", On The Edge delivers the goods.
