The Kiefer family has been working in the music industry for multiple generations starting with my great grandfather followed by my grandfather and my father. I remember spending time with my father, cousins, uncle and grandfather in the Kiefer Manufacturing 'shop' watching them cut, form and polish brass horns by hand and then ship it off for the next stage of the process. It is definitely an art to create a perfectly formed bell. Many famous musicians still play instruments with bells made by the Kiefer family. While my talent does not lie in manufacturing instruments, I compose and play music. In my late 40s, I began playing the Native American Flute and subsequently released three albums. During the past two years, I started playing the piano and released three albums containing original music. The ‘Windows into Harmony’ album was composed over a six-month period. Hopefully you will enjoy this album as much as I did creating it. Your feedback is always welcome. Enjoy life.
