the D.R.U.G.S. storythere was a boy, who lived his life far, far away inside society.a boy like all boys. the boy loved dogs, loved animals and nature more than anything.his name was gilbert. gilbert loved to play his guitar and piano, and drums, and anything that made a sound. to him, everything was music.not too far from where gilbert lived, there was a river.next to the river was a big eucalyptus tree on whose big and strong branchessat a small treehouse.gilbert loved the treehouse. he would take his guitar, climb up to the treehouse,and sing songs, watching the river flow, the birds fly high and just breath in life.every evening, at the exact same time of the evening, the jackals would come out and declareterritory, and gilbert would stop the playing and listen closely to the jackals howling.gilbert also loved to pick fruits and nuts that fell off the trees. sometimes he would build a fire, and boil some tea. later he would come home.one day, on a tuesday afternoon, gilbert and his good friend lig, walked together to the fields.on the way, lig told gilbert about an interesting plant he found growing close to the river.lig said that he tried to make tea using this plant and it gave him a new vision and wisdom.gilbert hesitated at first, but since he loved lig so much, he trusted him and decided to try the plant himself.the two walked over to the tree and started to search for the plant.within minutes lig found the desired plant and the two sat down to make tea.at first, nothing happened. but then, after about a half of one hour, they both started to feel something. “you see?”, said lig. “i told you.” and smiled.suddenly, everything seemed more lively, colorful and vibrant.“oh my universe, i see the light! i can see the light!!!” shouted gilbert, out to the sky.he felt his ego immediately disintegrate into thin air and become harmonious with all the living things around and beyond.his eyes opened widely as he studied the dance of the trees to the music of the wind…everything started to sing in his heart, and he felt his body turn into rays of love and light.when the two returned home, to gilbert’s place, he grabbed his guitar and started to sing, like a tunnel of feelings from heaven, he brought those feelings to life, in the form of a song.that song he called “everything is music.”within fourteen days, gilbert would write sixteen new songs about this life changing experience he went through with lig.all the songs in this album are based on this story of real events.lig says that this plant is proof that there is an answer to the eternal question called life…after all the said and done, you have the power to choose how to see things.everything you need is at your fingertips.live on.with sincere love to everyone and everything,asaf hadara few words about the tunes..everything is music -written while “being in light”…words & music by asaf hadarvocals - the angelic choir girlsharp - mia dicarlokey to me - written on the bench, under the big eucalyptus, by the alexander river, where i go to inhale life.written after “seeing the light” a few days earlier.dedicated to yael, my love;
