The timeless natural world of Yakushima is portrayed through nothing more than piano, upright bass, and drums, allowing the acoustic piano trio itself to become the landscape.Rin Todo's piano unfolds slowly, leaving generous space between every note. Delicate phrases fall like drops from leaves and change direction like water finding its way through stone.
