Death Boogie marks the sophomore album for the band The Mighty Third Rail. A concept album whose narrative format is in the vain of Green Day's American Idiot or David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust, following the fictional story of Victor Spartan, a blue collar worker who lives a comatose lifestyle by day and at night, hears the poetic sounds of revolution. A whimsical, high energy, political romp with a Pee Wee Herman meets Che Guevara type flare, on the examination of martyrdom, altruism, and courage through the stories of a Greek Titan, a soldier, a prisoner of war, a cheetah, and a child. Each song furthers the trio's exploration of their unique sound that combines poetry, beat-boxing, singing, violin and upright bass to harness a range of musical genre's from Hip Hop to Jazz, to Classical, to Radio Play, to even Choral music.
