16th May 2011 sees the anticipated debut release from five piece Folk band Hhymn. In The Depths will be released on Denizen Recordings and I must admit it is a fantastic debut effort. Back in 2008 Ed Bannard and Simon Richie went on to create Hhymn. To start off with this Nottingham based band started life as a duo.They then recruited long-term friend Mike Wynne on drums, Amy Helliwell on glockenspiel, organ and trumpet and Will Jeffrey on bass to complete this amazing band.　　Hhymn have released two singles Land Of Souls and These Hands which resulted in support from 6Music. A third single Girl Of Mine is set to be released on 15th May.
