专辑《Glory Dawn (Live At the City of Refuge)》 简介
GLORY DAWN is a collection of eleven amazing songs well crafted for your listening delight by Rev Igho Lewis Yegbeburu and The Glorious Fountain Choir under the influence of the Holy Spirit. This work brings you passionate, energetic, soul lifting and a spirit refreshing sound that is heavenly inspired. The uniqueness and richness of this work is in the fact that you cannot be passive as you listen. It engages your whole being from the very first track to the last, plugging you into an electrifying worship encounter that leaves you basking the bliss of heaven. The first track of the album is an energetic track titled KING OF GLORY; it announces the enthronement of Jesus over the worship experience and proclaims him as King of kings and Lord of lords. There was no better way to begin this album and worship experience than the use of a song which declared the Lordship of Jesus with such energy and passion that shook the place with wild excitement. The careful combination of the sounding of the Shofar with a rock like composition made a whole lot of difference. This was quickly followed by a very dramatic and dynamic song titled LET'S GIVE HIM PRAISE. This song is a combination of the popular contemporary gospel music style beautifully blended with African rhythms that gets you in a holy grove. It is so full of life and beautifully crafted with a few Nigerian language songs that were rendered with the classical music feel at a point, and in the next, the use of typical African drums and dance grove. This song ended in a beautiful climax and dialogue that is very instructive and engaging as it ushers one into worship before the very throne of heaven in the next track titled THOUSAND TONGUES. This song is a combination of both anthem music and contemporary gospel style. OUR GOD IS ONE is the fifth track proclaiming the greatness of our God as the one and only living God having no equal. The beautiful use of horns and contemporary drum beats make it both a powerful proclamation and dance beat. There is no better way to celebrate the great God and Creator of the universe than a beautiful song acknowledging his sovereignty. This song is followed by a reggae medley which employed the use of different kinds of reggae beats. This medley started with the song WHO IS LIKE UNTO YOU followed by the song GIVING IT ALL TO YOU which reoccurred throughout the medley to help link the other songs- YOUR PRESENCE, SET MY SOUL AFIRE and a strong rubber-dub. The seventh track LIFT UP YOUR HEADS is taken from the Bible book of Psalm chapter 24, which puts the prophetic decree found in this passage into music and at the same time a weapon of spiritual battle against spiritual obstacles. It is a combination of western and African musical forms. GOD OF GRACE is the eighth track and is a testimony proclaiming the graciousness of God in our life's' journey. It is a good use of contemporary music style. This is quickly followed by a prayer taken from Psalm 67 asking for more of the mercies of God. The calmness of both the singing and the musical instrument help to create such an atmosphere and awe in worship. The tenth track titled DELIVERER is a prayer proclaiming God as savior, the Living Word and Sovereign God. It is a cry for divine intervention, a cry for deliverance from the afflicting and oppressing hand of the enemy of our souls. The impact of this song is so powerful that it catches the attention of the listener so easily and helps to express our inmost longings. In the words of Kevin Bond, the multi Grammy award winning producer,"this song is like a musical arrangement of a movie..." The last track which is the title track of the album- GLORY DAWN (Break The Chains of Darkness) is written with the popular African musical style called Afro Beat but in this work it involves a careful and intricate combination of Jazz, contemporary and typical African beats that is highly rhythmic and full of life. It is on this victorious note the album comes to an end in a prophetic declaration and celebration that truly spell out GLORY DAWN. TESTIMONIES One outstanding testimony that came out of this work is the healing of a lady who was HIV positive. She and the husband were present during our worship experience at the City of Refuge and then went home worshiping God with the song “DELIVERER”. Not long after, when they went for the HIV test, the result came out attesting to the fact that she has been healed of HIV. They conducted the test twice and both results show that she is HIV negative. ABOUT THE GLORIOUS FOUNTAIN MINISTRIES The Glorious Fountain Ministries is an interdenominational body in the forefront of promoting Christian worship with a touch of heavenly bliss wrapped up in excellence and true passion. By the impact of this work our home town the city of Warri has enjoyed quality and soul soothing music from internationally recognized artist like, Don Moen, Paul Wilbur, Lenny LeBlanc, Muyiwa and River songz, Nathaniel Bassy and the likes. These are artists many never expected to turn up for an invitation to a place like Warri but the undaunted effort of Rev Igho L Yegbeburu and the enthusiastic Glorious Fountain team, backed by the grace of the Almighty God is helping to make a huge difference. Due to the past negative developments of communal clashes, destruction of lives and properties, pipe line vitalization, militancy, kidnapping and other menace, not many expect anything good to come out of Warri and like the biblical character Nathaniel doubted when he was told that they have found the Messiah; one Jesus Christ of Nazareth, he mockingly asked, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” In the same manner not many expect anything good to come out of Warri, to these skeptics the answer given to Nathaniel is still very appropriate, “Come and see.” (See John 1:45-46). Something good and glorious is happening in our time and it is good to know it is all happening in Warri, Delta State to help restore the battered image of the state and the country. Bishop Kevin Bond has produced the likes of Kirk Franklyn, Mary Mary, Donny Mc Cluckinns, Cece Winans, Bishop T D Jakes and the Potters’ House Choir and a host of other stars that resulted in high recognition and well deserved accolades. It was under his supervision the Glorious Fountain Choir was able to release her first live recording in a twelve track album titled “THE KABOD ENCOUNTER” in 2012. It was an historic event as that project was the first ever live gospel music recording of this proportion in Nigeria. The rich quality and high standard of the audio and video of the album has made it a delight to Radio listeners and TV viewers both on terrestrial and satellite stations. It is such pedigree and testimonies that are the reason behind the high expectations and joyful anticipation in the hearts of many who are itching to hear the release of this latest production. Again, this is another historic accomplishment as it is on records that this is one of the two albums that has been released to hit the airwaves. EXPECTATIONS “GLORY DAWN” is a prophetic work beautifully crafted with dance-able and sing along rhythms and melodies that are designed to help soothe the soul and unlock the heavens over individuals, families, cities and nations. The album is blessed with a variety of musical styles and coloration with a blend of both Nigerian and western composition techniques. All the songs in this album were composed by Rev Igho Lewis Yegbeburu the President of The Glorious Fountain Ministries with an exception of a few popular Nigerian tunes that were added to spice up the project which makes it culture sensitive and applicable to people across generational divide. We are confident of the impact and transformation this work will bring to the lives of many individuals and nations. Don’t be left out. There is a common saying which goes, “The taste of the pudding is in the eating.” There is no better way to attest to the ingenuity of this much acclaimed impart than to encounter it yourself.
