Erik's follow-up to his release"Forty-Something" provides 12 new tunes with compelling storylines and ear-catching musical hooks. These new songs hearken back to his Texas roots while bringing-into the picture his newly-acquired midwestern influences. There are doses of folk, roots, classic country and even rock (there's a wah-wah guitar solo!!) peppered throughout the album, but the recipe holds together as a wonderfully ecelectic musical offering in the singer/songwriter genre. There's certain to be a big empty space in everyone's music collection that this CD will fill!
