"The Departure" is just the beginning for the musical duo TenString Serenade. It is the story of two friends, deeply connected by their love of music and their need for expression. This album features smooth acoustic guitar rhythms paired with improvisatory violin melodies that capture the soul of the musicians, Alex and Karla. A few tracks feature trap set, bass, mandolin, glockenspiel, piano, and surprisingly enough, a vocal premiere of Karla Dietmeyer, the violinist on the album.
