Dreams of Hope performance ensemble, theatriQ, (ages 13-21) works with professional artists to create original work addressing LGBTQ themes. They engage and educate audiences through performances and hand-on workshops. The album, Home, is the compilation of our 2015/2016 songwriting year. Home was created, written and produced by Dreams of Hope's Youth Ensemble with Teaching Artist and Music Director, Judith Avers. Through the power of the arts, Dreams of Hope provides the region’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and allied (LGBTQA) youth a welcoming environment to grow in confidence, express themselves, and develop as leaders. Their creative contributions educate audiences, build awareness, and increase acceptance.Dreams of Hope sees a future where LGBTQ and all youth are nurtured, have freedom of expression, and live in communities that embrace them."We aim to elevate the visibility of conversations important to LGBTQA+ people, in order to create more accepting and inclusive communities. We hope Home will increase the number of people who know about Dreams of Hope, and help us raise money to support more youth." - Program Director, Adil MansoorThank you for your support!
