After attending college in Vermont he settled in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY and began his music career as the drummer and background vocalist for the much-hailed cult band The Niagaras. After many years of playing the bars and clubs of New York City with dozens of bands, he began working as a session singer in some of Manhattan's finest studios. As he worked his guitar, bass, and drums into the recording scene, he began composing for film and television and building his own studio.
