Formed in mid-2012, Callum Wimhurst (Lead Guitar/Lead Vocals), Laura Fisher (Bass/Backing Vocals) and Amie Chapman (Drums/Backing Vocals) formed Headwires - a new kind of rock band. Bridging the gap between Megadeth, BFMV and Nickelback, with heavy guitars and bass at the forefront, and thumping rhythms and female backing vocals rounding out the sound. After playing a busy schedule of show after show in their first few months of inception, the band decided it was time to get in the studio and lay down an EP. What came out of those sessions was this, a 7 track gapless album encapsulating the Headwires sound and attitude.As Headwires' first album, the main intent was to combine all of the bands musical qualities in to one recording that would represent the band. Produced by lead singer and guitarist Callum Wimhurst in his studio in Leicester, recording took 4 months with mixing and mastering taking another month.
