Hollis wrote and recorded GARDEGA when she was 14 & 15 years old. Her infectious lyrics and unique vocals are soulfully evocative speaking to audiences, both young and old. Greatly influenced by the classic rock era, Hollis weaves classic and current rock and alternative sounds together, forging her own path as an individual artist in the new music paradigm. Brooklyn-based artist, Alex Gardega, created the original artwork for Hollis’ freshman album. The works of art for Hollis’ albums are a mutual collaboration bridging the art + music worlds together. Captivated by her music, these artists were inspired to create these original art pieces and Hollis in turn pays homage to their work by aptly naming each album in their honor.
