This CD is called Clawing My Way to the Bottom and was recorded between 2013 and 2016. It touches various styles and genre's from Pop to Blues, Country to Rock. Most deal with love and relationships both saccharine and dark while other tracks have duel meanings or revolve around the title exclusively with no real clear message. These tracks are not terribly complex or over-produced giving them a more raw from the heart feeling as illustrated by Hot Diner Baby or Just Another Dagger (in the wound of love). Some of the more softer tracks include Unnamed Song and Emotions. Stayin' is derived from the musical chord patterns of the late 1950's and 60's while Summertime Rain is more of a dream type selection. Too Fast and I've Been Around are more Country in nature and deal with the unexpected things that happen in life. Saying Goodbye is a song about a friend that took her own life while seeming to be living a happy life. A Love Song for Christmas is just that. Also included are three bonus tracks. Biker Babes (in high heels) is a spoof on the aforementioned subject matter that one on-air personality referred to as"a bluesy, raunchy mixture of Southern Rock" while Because of You is a song about finding a lost love. Finally, From Childhood to Adulthood deals with the subject of breast cancer from the perspective of the mother's young twin boys.
