Music 101 – This disc is the result of my lifelong obsession formusic. The title came to me as a way to sum up the lessons learned along the way, from writing, playing, arranging, recording, performing, mixing, mastering, to producing these first 12 songs from an extensive catalog of music. Though thisjourney started at a very young age, the songs on this discwere greatly elevated by the amazing dedication, skilland friendship of Douglas Smith and John “Buzz” Baker. My wonderful wife unselfishly supported me in all of this andpushed me to follow my heart. There were others thathave helped in special ways, but those above stand sovery tall in my world. The making of music is about collaboration, celebration, and the intentional organization of sound that hopesto endure. Enjoy these eclectic recordings andplease share the music with your friends. Thencome out and be with us in the moment as we celebratethe joy of music together.Thank you for taking the time to listen.Yours TrulyBrian Lee Bender
