It all started with an argument: this is seldom a good kick-off for a solid collaboration. Il Daz and Moretti Butcher were the first to meet, but after the first gig the two argued to the point that they had to separate. Il Daz decided to create a cover band and recruited Mauroman. They covered songs by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus, Robben Ford and Living Color with positive feedback, but their common passion went beyond the satisfaction of a simple concert, so they both decided to leave the band and started focus their musical and artistic vitality on several jam sessions. When everything seemed to be set in melodies intended to vanish right after their creation, Moretti Butcher Got in contact again with Il Daz. Thanks to the project of a metal prog band that never released its songs, the new friendship among them strengthened and made Moretti Butcher realize his innate desire to improvise. As ArrJam, they started create their first songs, exclusively instrumental, from pure improvisation; however, they soon realized that vocals could enrich the new musical style they created together, so Il Daz contacted the only singer who could use his voice as an instrument and improvise with him in the rehearsal room. From that moment on, ArrJam were enhanced by Got's voice. As cherry on top, ArrJam accomplished their first album together (“Session One”) in the name of improvisation and jam session.
