Ignition Is Here & We Are WildfiresIgnition is the first serving from Watson & The Wildfires, A 5 track EP in keeping with the Wildfire philosophy of alternative approaches to flavours such as Rock, Blues and RnB. This Album was recorded with Audio Beach Studios, Brighton, UK.Ignition is an intimate, unique blend of alternative styles. Gripping, raw lyrics set upon a backdrop of artistic guitar riffs and a liberated rhythm section. The recordings have captured the essence of the Wildfire's natural, stripped back sound. Influences as diverse as Curtis Mayfield, Public Enemy, Bon Iver, John Martyn, Sublime and John Butler, show this is merely the starting point for a larger firestorm. Songs such as Just another B Side, create the light, funky side while Sandman and Old Gregg provide a shade. Ignition was written in the spirit of the album as a story, providing a journey through record. Help us fan the flames of Watson & The Wildfire's!
