Christmas music... it's all the same - cute children singing, crooners crooning, choirs chanting, and of course lots of sleigh bells... But not when Purple Rhapsody does Christmas! On this EP you'll find 4 traditional Christmas songs completely rearranged, with extra bits, strange keys, no singing, and mixtures of orchestral and rock fused into one huge sound. A couple of the tracks may start off very familiar, but soon you'll be whisked off to the land of Purple Christmases where Oh Come All You Faithful takes you on a dark but powerful journey, and Silent Night doesn't stay silent for very long. The image for the cover uses a wonderful minimalist Christmas tree design by 'magicmarie' on http://sxc.huEnjoy Christmas with a Purple twist!
