Eddie GM aka/Eddie C.Robinson is an accomplished pianist, arranger, composer, singer & producer. Often referred to as a"musician's musician," He played his first pianio notes at the early age of 3 1/2. After a year of private lessons, he was advanced to The Detroit Conervatory of Music for formal Classical Music studies in under the strict rules of a senior European Professor. His studies continued with private studies by renown Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Folk professionals. By age 7,"little Eddie"was officially hired church pianist. He organized his first singing group, with which he began singing and arranging vocals, at age 11. One unreleased Motown album remains half finished because he parents refused to sign the agreement. However, Eddie eventually recorded analbum with the Motown musicians, in the Motown studio,arrangers and engineers that was released. This recording marked the final recording session in Detroit's Motown studio by any artist, prior to its relocation to California. More details will be To date, Eddie has played and recorded with a number of legendary groups including The Original Motown Band (The ‘Funk Bros.’ of Detroit), The David Letterman Band (New York), James Brown Band & others. As a composer, he wrote hits for Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, The Dramatics, Destiny’s Child. Ed Robinson composed theme music for film and television shows, MTV’s Real People “Road Show” and the ever-popular “Bonanza.” In addition to producing Gold and Platinum albums, he has catalog of approximately 100 songs published with Universal Music Group. His catalog also contains original sheet published by Paramount Pictures & ABC Television. A number of Gospel artists have recorded Edddie's music; Vanessa Bell Armstrong, James Cleveland, LaShun Pace, MC Hammer, Tessie Hill, Melba Moore, Dottie Peoples, The Voices of Tabernacle, & The Thomas Whitfield Company, for example. “He Keeps Doing Great Things For Me,” “Don’t’ Forget to Remember (Where All Your Blessings Come From),” “(Let the life you Live Be A) Reflection of the Man Inside,” and “I’ve Been Touched” are among his legendary Gospel hits. Eddie began his ministry in California, at the First Baptist Church of North Fontana. Later, in the downtown district of San Bernadino, he organized a men’s outreach ministry that effectively changed many lives. From this dedicated group of men emerged new deacons, ministers and pastors. National and international travels with evangelistic ministries of The Billy Graham Crusade, Dr. E.V. Hill, Campus Crusade For Christ International and ‘Operation Starting Line’ (a nation-wide prison ministry) all contributed greatly towards the maturity of his ministry.Countries traveled include Japan, Korea, China, Africa, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Thailand & Viet Nam.
