Airports and music was the first thing the members of Waving to Strangers (W2S) had in common. All of them met in Barcelona but were born somewhere else. The Wave is the first formal album from the band following a self-edited EP released in 2011.Their music has been labeled as Rock, Grunge, PowerPop and Indie, having a strong influence of the sound of 90's US music.
