Here we have 'Deep Sensation' from the 'All Over It' head honcho, with two tracks that hold ground on many different levels. The Sheffield based producer has crafted together a compilation of two tracks of electronic rhythms that unite influences from everything to surrealist token techno, disco, and keyboard intervals; which all accumulates to a special delivery of music departing to our ears. Evidently unfazed by assembling an advanced, more risky image, Micky Blue links his many dissimilar artist wishes on this EP, throughout portraying his technological expressionism. Contrasting influences and periods are connected as one through a delicate interaction of disparity and attitude. Commencing with an up-tempo luxurious track called 'Deep Sensation', Micky Blue at once mesmerizes you with a faraway, sun-kissed afternoon sense. Operating its means all the way through a soft, techy, melodious funky station, it arrives at the eccentric synthesized breakdown jamboree. The following track, a bumpy bass-driven banger is 'Innocent'; a wobbly groovy bumper that is just the thing for those ever-so-serious after parties. The EP takes you downwards to an additional unforeseen passageway which sees an amusing, candid piece of music, gradually beating a singing techno sample into compliance. The record is stiff to fasten to - it succeeds to join together classic pop and contemporary techno at the same instance. This EP closes the summer on an elevated note with a suggestion of the EPs base principles: getting 'on it'. Ultimately, Micky Blues shows his broad selection of sounds can be openly traced back to his underground influences on these two fantastic records.
