Dead of Night (D.O.N.) is a Southern California unsigned band. DON was formed in 2004 with original band members Johnny Dead (Vocals & Guitar) Richie Corpse (Drums) James Fiend (Bass Guitar) David Darko (Synth & Keys). Two years later In 2006 Evil E. Granados (Lead Guitar) joined DON. The Moorpark, CA. based band has been busy hitting every local bar and venue possible, from Santa Barbara's Velvet Jones, Ventura's San Soucies, Ventura Theatre, Dirty Vinyl, Dj's, The Red Cove, North Hollywood's Universal Bar & Grill, Skinnies, Hollywood's Cat Club, and even down to Anaheim and San Diego, CA. Dead of Night has opened for bands like Deadbolt, Go Betty Go, Stung Out, Legendary Surf Guitarist Dick Dale, Radio Threat and Igore Spectre to name a few. Since the beginning of 2009 Dead of Night has been working on the release of their self titled album. Finally after countless of hours and more than two years later Dead of Night is complete and available for all to experience. Dead of Night brings an eclectic and uncategorizable sound. In order for one to truly know DON, you cannot just listen to one Dead of Night song. Each and every track has a diverse environment indicative of each of the members personalities. Almost all members of Dead of Night can play more than one instrument, have had experience as Disc Jockeys in 80's and Hard Core and House music. And the dark and heavy metal as well as the classic rock sounds creep throughout the album. Dead of Night has something for everyone and this self titled album offers a fresh new sound for all.
