I have been rapping now for about 2 and a half years. I started out as a Division 1 basketball prospect, but my dreams of playing basketball got smaller as my knees and other joints started to give out on me. Music started to become my outlet and the more I did it, the better I got. Some of my most brutally honest friends and family began supporting my decision, and most are now encouraging it. I have always wanted to inspire people and I believe that the story of my life can relate in one way or another to the people around me. My main goal is to take care of everyone who has taken care of me, and music seems to be giving me that opportunity. I hope you all enjoy listening to the music as much as I have enjoyed creating it. I don't have plans to get signed to some major record label or anything like that because I feel that I can do it on my own. To me, success is not the end of the road... it IS the road. My style has been compared a lot to Drake. I have done a lot of remakes of his songs that a lot of people have liked, particularly my version of Marvin's Room. I tend to use a lot of deeper similes in my raps so that you don't always get the full effect until you have listened to a song a few times. My beat maker, Eddie Mangan, is probably one of the most unique producers I've heard in my life. When you hear most of my original stuff, the beats have been made by him. He plays with a TON of different sounds to create an overall beat that no one has ever made. You will never hear a beat from Eddie and think"This sounds like...." unless you are comparing it to one of his other beats. I have started to sing a bit more, and will hopefully continue to as my voice progresses. I have always loved singing, but rapping is my strongpoint. I believe that the industry is going to be geared more towards those who can do more than just sing or just rap or just produce. I want to be able to do EVERYTHING on my own. I also produce all of my music. I don't like someone else having a hand in my work.
