Duh Professors is a band that features East Coast Attitude combined with California Cool to achieve an aggressive, yet poppy, hard rock sound.Before forming in Santa Barbara in 2015, Duh Professors actually worked as professors and teachers in various colleges in California and abroad while performing and playing in various bands. The two founding members first met at an open mic at the now legendary Marquee bar next to the Granada Theater on State Street, where Kyle was playing a song called"Don't Give a F***". Soon after that, they began recording and playing music together. The result is the EP Small Tragedies.Xander"the Mad Professor" Sack, has a Master's in Performance from Cal Arts and is known as one of the best fine arts guitarists in Southern California. He developed his guitar chops playing and recording with various bands in L.A. before relocating to Santa Barbara to set up his own studio.Kyle"the Professor of Luv" Crocco is currently in the process of earning a Ph.D. in Education from UC Santa Barbara and is known for writing twisted, dark lyrics. Before concentrating on music, he honed his word skills crafting novels filled with sexual innuendo, quick violence, and dark humor.
