The Embers are a surf-rock group based out of Portland Oregon. The writing process for this album began in September of 2015, when the band was still in it's infancy. Bands and groups that influenced this album include but are not limited to: The Growlers, Mac Demarco, The Drums, The Allah-Las, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Blink 182, and The Story So Far. With Charles Timpy Jr. on vocals, Logan Alexander on lead guitar, Max Casey on bass, and Trevor Alexander on drums, this surf rock ensemble comes together. This album is reverb heavy, ethereal, punchy, chill, and energetic all at the same time. There is more content sure to come in the near future. In the mean time we will be playing shows around Portland to promote the album.
