Although this is my 3rd CD"out", it's actually the second CD that include new material. The second CD"Relics" was a lot of older recordings that I had some some time ago and I felt that I wanted them out. I found that making this CD was a very personal experience as this past year presented a lot of challenges to overcome and I found that those challenges found their way into the music at every turn in the road. I write about every day experiences, be it good or bad, as it's my form of"therapy". My wife is key to all this. Every time I wrote and recorded a song that I didn't care for and wanted to chuck it out, she'd tell me to leave the song alone for awhile and come back to it, which I did, and she was right. A little tweaking of words or a changed chord made the songs come alive and worthwhile. God knows how many other songs I may have tossed that could have been worked on had she been around.
